Skiing Dates For 2007/08 Season

Chalet Alpina is a two star bed and breakfast hotel and all rooms have en-suite facilities, TV and telephone. Downstairs it has its own lounge with satellite TV and heated boot/ski room.
Chalet Alpina also has family rooms and prices are available on request.
The ski dates are listed below with a short overview of the activity focus for the weeks training.
Ski Trip - La Thuile 9th - 16th March 2008
A week designed to be fun, lots of mileage and heaps of coaching. During the week we slowly bring back those long forgotten ski legs
that would have had at least a year off, some maybe longer. We develop the skiing skills that you have and hopefully introduce you to new ones
and as the week progresses, develop comfort zones in more areas, and weather permitting we
may ski into the French resort of La Rosiere.
So if you are a blue run skier linking plough turns
or a stronger skier looking to develop good red and black run skills we have
a place for you.
The price includes Hotel Chalet Alpina B&B, Airport Transfer (from Turin at a set time) and Ski Hosting for the week.

Completed Ski Trip - La Thuile 30th March - 6th April 2008
This is predominantly the family week, being our Easter trip, and the fun is not just on the slopes. During the week we have an
Easter egg hunt
around Chalet Alpina. The hotel owners Eddy & Debbie love this one as they find eggs days after the event! Out on the snow we are catering for all blue run skiers upwards with
emphasis on Safety, Enjoyment and Learning. Should the kids have the energy left at break times or the end of the day then they could try Quees "extreme sports".

FULL Ski Trip - La Thuile 6th - 13th April 2008
This trip is focused more on the higher level with a bigger gap between the two groups and is ideal for couples, families where one half prefers the slower
descents and the other half prefers skiing at higher speeds or a slightly more vertical route. The emphasis through both groups is "Control" and "Turning"
and we could be developing carving technique, variable terrain, off-piste, bumps and mountain awareness. The minimum standard for this group should be basic parallel on blue runs.
