The Guiding

This will take place every day, morning and afternoon from 10 until 3 with breaks. At other times you are free to practice.

From our experience we have found that many family groups are made up of different ability skiers and over the course of the week's holiday the gap tends to get bigger and more frustrating for all parties. So what we do is split the groups into two - swift skiers and coffee cruisers.

Ski With Us In Italy

Swift skiers

This group is ideal for skiers who like to ski faster and more challenging runs such as reds, blacks and perhaps a bit of off-piste, according to the group's ability and requirements. You will benefit from our experience with feedback tailored to the individual abilities.

Coffee Cruisers

This group is for skiers who prefer to ski more slowly and are perhaps less experienced. We will ski mainly on blue and easy red runs and incorporate plenty of coffee and hot chocolate stops. Again, these sessions will be tailored to the individual's needs - so no more snaking down the mountain playing catch up with the ski-school instructor.

Both groups will also benefit from video analyses in the hotel later in the evening.

In Short - why we differ from the rest

There is no rigid structure to these groups, so you can change between groups depending on your mood (or hangover). Each day both groups will try and meet up at a restaurant for lunch on the mountain  where, if the morning has been quite tiring and you fancy a leisurely afternoon or just skiing with the rest of the family, you can jump into the slower group or vice versa.

We can be as flexible as you like!

We organise groups to visit La Thuile in the Italian Alps.

With Mont Blanc and Rutor on either side of the mountain range the snow is always in good shape on and off piste and tends to last long after the lift system has closed down at the end of April.

The pistes have excellent beginner and intermediate runs with a number of expert descents as well. The off piste is where La Thuile really does stand out from the rest with good powder that can be found days after a snow fall.

La Thuile also enjoys affordable heli-skiing for the more advanced skier.
